About Us
STAFF POSITIONS
Currently, there are no staff positions open at the San Francisco Dance Center.
TEACHING POSITIONS
If you are interested in teaching at the Dance Center please send your resumé to Dance Center Director, Robin Anderson, electronically (or by mail to the address at the bottom of this page) along with a letter explaining what classes you would like to teach and your experience as a teacher.
ACCOMPANIST POSITIONS
If you are interested in accompanying classes at the Dance Center we ask that you send us your resumé by email or mail. The Dance Center only hires piano accompanists for the Company advanced ballet classes. However, for those who would like, we can also pass your application on to teachers in our studios who use live accompaniment in their classes.
WORK-EXCHANGE POSITIONS
The Dance Center has many opportunities for students to work in exchange for their classes. We have regular positions that you can apply for (see below) but some students have special skills (design, web, costume care, etc) that they would like to exchange for their classes. If so, please bring your resumé to the Front Desk on the 5th Floor and talk to the Coordinator on duty.

Front Desk Staff
Front desk staff work 3-5 hours per week and earn 1 class for every hour worked. Shifts are Monday through Sunday. If you are interested in being considered for a shift, complete the application below and turn in at the Front Desk or mail to the address below.
Special Projects
If you don't have time to work a regular shift, you can also file an application with us letting us know that you can do occassional work. We have special mailing projects and other seasonal projects. Please fill out an application giving us your contact information and letting us know when you would be available.
