Alonzo King LINES Ballet (AKLB) is looking for a full-time Summer Program Coordinator. This person handles all the Administration for the Alonzo King LINES Summer Program. This position also has management and supervisory responsibilities.
• Act as a main point of contact for the Summer Program (SP) and Discovery Project (DP). • Manage a large phone call and email volume. • Manage the day-to-day operations of the SP including the processing of all tuition, tuition waiver requests and housing & theater contracts associated with the SP. • Administration tasks including booking travel, accommodations, and studio space for both the SP National Audition Tour and the Discovery Project. • Create and maintain numerous spreadsheets and reports to track all SP and DP information. • Manage faculty schedules, housing and travel itineraries. • Schedule and serve as main point of contact for accompanists (musicians). • Prepare weekly deposits of tuition and other receivables • Prepare weekly payroll, including review of timesheets, reimbursement requests and preparation of per diem payment for traveling faculty. • Organizes and supervises WEX (work exchange students). • Update the SP website as updated information is made available. • Keep all lines of communication open among students, parents, faculty, accompanists and staff. • Craft all marketing materials distributed by LINES Ballet SP including emails, newsletter, website updates, formal letters to students, performance programs, brochures, flyers, and student paperwork. • Establish and maintain solid professional relationships with vendors including personnel related to theater rentals, residence hall housing, chaperones, catering services, and printing/marketing services. • Assist with performance coordination such as consult for marketing materials, manage the box office needs and comp list, and manage the logistics of tech. • Create and maintain SP and DP filing and data storage system. • Other duties as needed and assigned.
A qualified applicant must be reliable, flexible, well organized, detail oriented, enjoy working with a diverse range of people and have the ability to multi-task & problem solve with a positive attitude. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access or other database programs required. Applicant should have a strong communication and customer service skills. Bachelors degree or equivalent and supervisory experience essential. Familiarity with MindBody© online and is a plus.
Customary Hours: 30-40 hours per week Mon-Fri 9am – 5pm (includes occasional night and weekend hours).
