I bought a ticket, now what?

Sit tight! We will be in touch with you via the email address used to purchase your ticket.

General Admission attendees can expect to hear from us on April 15, at which time they will be provided instructions for registering on OneCause. All other ticket holders will be contacted in March to supply their Celebration Box shipping address and guest names (if applicable).

Once the OneCause event page opens on April 15, all attendees will need to register. Use the email address tied to your ticket purchase as it will already be in the OneCause system – this is to help keep the event secure. Keep your username and password handy for easy access on April 17. Once you’ve set up your login, you are ready to go!

What is OneCause?

OneCause is a private event platform that enables us to bring you a multi-layered virtual experience. It will be used to curate the auctions and broadcast the main event (note: the pre-show will be held on Zoom). Instructions for accessing the OneCause event page will be distributed to ticket holders on April 15. For those who purchase a ticket after April 15, details can be found in their GiveButter receipt email.

Are there any in-person Gala events?

Not this year, however we invite you to engage with us virtually! During the event, please feel welcome to participate in the live chat featured on OneCause and use #LINESGala2021 when sharing Gala highlights on social media.

What happens on April 17?

To view the main event at 6pm PDT, you will login to OneCause with your username and password (or register if you have not yet done so). We encourage you to do this at least 15 minutes before showtime to ensure everything is working and add a credit card to your account to ensure seamless bidding during the live auction.

For those attending the pre-show at 5pm PDT, you will be emailed specific instructions for accessing your virtual pre-show room.

Having issues? Email us at gala@linesballet.org

What time will the event be relative to my location?

The main event begins at 6pm Pacific Daylight Time (San Francisco/UTC-7). Click here to convert 6pm PDT to your local time.

How can I make an extra gift to support LINES Ballet?

Attendees will be able to donate to LINES Ballet through the OneCause platform.

Can’t wait until the OneCause event page opens? Contact us or click here to make a donation online. We thank you for your support!

What is special about my Artist’s Circle / Alonzo’s Circle ticket?

You’re invited to the pre-show event! We will contact you in March to collect the shipping address for your Celebration Box and guest names (if applicable). On April 15, you will receive an email with instructions for accessing your pre-show virtual room. Make sure to have Zoom set up on whatever device you would like to use.

Where can Celebration Boxes be delivered?

Celebration boxes can be delivered anywhere in the United States. Please note that boxes must be reserved by March 26 to ensure delivery.

I will attend with other people in my household. Do I need to purchase multiple admissions?

Each admission provides a single OneCause account. This means a single OneCause login, a single bidding account for auctions, a single username for the live chat, etc. We welcome you gathering with members of your household to enjoy the event together, however we suggest that you purchase multiple admissions if you would like more than one OneCause account.

Please email gala@linesballet.org for Gala-related inquiries.

What do I need to access the event?

All you need is an internet browser on your laptop, computer, or tablet to access the main event page on OneCause, our private event platform. OneCause is a web based platform and works best on Google Chrome. We do not recommend using Internet Explorer.

Once at the OneCause page, you will need to register for the event in order to access the livestream broadcast and bid in the live auction.

What is the best viewing experience?

For the highest quality we highly recommend casting the livestream to your TV. There will be a link on the main event page to the livestream (via Twitch) that you can use to Airplay or Chromecast to connect to your TV. You can also connect your laptop to your TV via HDMI Cable.

NOTE: you will need to keep the OneCause page open on your laptop or tablet to participate in the auction, fund-a-need, and chat while you watch the show on your TV.

Can I use a tablet or mobile device?

To access the Gala on your tablet or mobile device just open the OneCause link we provide on your device. This will take you to a browser page where you can login and view the main event.

Do I need to download any software to attend?

If you are attending the pre-show event, you will need to download Zoom. No additional software is needed for the main event – just log into OneCause on an internet browser!

What if I am having trouble connecting on the night of the event?

Please reach out to our customer service team. You can either email them at gala@linesballet.org or call 415-329-1021.
