Founded in 1982, Alonzo King LINES Ballet is a Black-founded non- profit organization created with the purpose of touching hearts and stirring minds through dance.

It forces people to see for themselves… I think the gift of art is a glimpse into the answer to the questions that everyone is asking: Why am I here? Where am I going? Who am I? Art has to be part of education.”
