FEBRUARY 1 - MARCH 21
Workshop with Victor Talledos
The Horton technique is a dynamic and powerful modern dance form that focuses on coordination, strength, flexibility, musicality and rhythm. In this workshop, you will review the basic vocabulary of the Horton technique. Benefit from individualized attention as Victor focuses on the correct execution of the steps based on your body type, facilities and limitations. You will also discuss injury prevention and learning tools that can be applied while taking Horton open classes as well as other dance forms. Upon completion, you will feel more confident when attending Advanced Beginning or Intermediate Horton classes, according to your level and dance experience.
This workshop is not only for absolute beginners but for all levels who are interested in learning more about the Horton Technique. It is also an excellent complement for ballet trained dancers to further develop their performance skills.
It is recommended that you wear fitted clothes and take class barefoot or with “feet undies” (modern dance slippers).
