Join us in celebrating the artistry of the Class of 2024 as they present specially commissioned solos in the BFA Senior Solo Concert. Choreographers include BFA alumni Michael Montgomery, Maya Mohsin, and Sierra Serban, along with guests artists Ryan Sinton and Isabelle Cattie.
Senior year in the BFA Program at Dominican University of California is full of new challenges and opportunities to grow. Each solo is an independent project, in that the seniors choose the choreographers that they wish to work with and rehearsals take place outside of the regular scope of the dance curriculum. In the past, students have chosen LINES faculty, alumni, and local and national artists as their choreographers. The dancers’ choices reflect areas or movement styles that they are curious about, artistic relationships they wish to deepen, and personal challenges they are eager to face.
