Join Lauren Chertudi for Re-Patterning to explore and address the imbalances in your body. As movers, we often have imbalances that result in phrases like “turning side”, “standing leg”, “funky shoulder” or “bad knee.” Lauren’s goal is to build and strengthen your body to accommodate your movement.
In each session, you’ll start and end with the same dance technique sequence focused on a specific portion of the body. In between, explore the anatomy needed for that sequence using Pilates, Bartenieff fundamentals, improvisational somatics and partner work. Discover compensation patterns you may never have known you had.
This workshop is for all levels, abilities, and experience of movers. Perfect for those who seek to know themselves better and hope to create a stronger more balanced body to live, move and dance in.
