TECHNIQUE, REPERTORY, AND PROCESS MASTER CLASS WITH KEELAN WHITMORE

Explore the creative process with former LINES Ballet company dancer Keelan Whitmore! Together, participants will research different aspects of finding and refining the artistic voice. All levels welcome!

Class will begin with a ballet class that examines the science and sensation of technique. Then, Keelan and dancers will use repertory from Alonzo King as a catalyst for constructing, deconstructing, and interpreting movement phrases. The workshop will close with a reflective discussion, where dancers can share the connection of lived experiences to dance, their lives, and the current social climate.
