Alonzo King has been called a visionary choreographer, who is altering the way we look at ballet. King calls his works “thought structures” created by the manipulation of energies that exist in matter through laws, which govern the shapes and movement directions of everything that exists. Named as a choreographer with “astonishing originality” by the New York Times, Alonzo King LINES Ballet has been guided by his unique artistic vision since 1982.
Christina Johnson was a member of the Boston Ballet for two years before joining the Dance Theatre of Harlem, where she rose to become a principal dancer within four years. She is an original member of Complexions Contemporary Ballet and has been a featured guest artist with the renowned Royal Ballet of London. Christina has been sought after as a teacher, coach and ballet master, and has worked with companies and schools such as the Pacific Northwest Ballet, Washington Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Dance Theatre of Harlem and Ballet Hispanico.
Frankie Lee Peterson III is a professional freelance dancer, performer, choreographer and instructor who holds his BFA in Contemporary Dance from UNCSA. He has performed with companies such as dawsondancesf, Gaspard & Dancers, Mark Dendy Projects, RAWdance SF, Rising Rhythm Project and House of Prolific. Frankie also performs, choreographs and is signed with a talent/model agency based in San Francisco, California, “RAE Agency”.
