This online weekend workshop is designed to expand the technical and artistic excellence of intermediate to pre-professional teens ages 11-17. Offering five hours of training each day, this experience includes a three-hour intensive session with Alonzo King as well as classes taught by a powerful roster of past and present LINES Ballet company dancers. Participants will be encouraged to expand their comfort zones throughout.

Alonzo King has been called a visionary choreographer, who is altering the way we look at ballet. Named as a choreographer with “astonishing originality” by the New York Times, Alonzo King LINES Ballet has been guided by his unique artistic vision since 1982. Click here to learn more.
Adji Cissoko joined LINES Ballet in 2014 and has originated many central roles and guested for galas worldwide since then. In 2020 she became certified in health/life coaching as well as in ABT’s National Training Curriculum. Click here to learn more.
Babatunji Johnson joined LINES Ballet in 2013 after graduating from the LINES Ballet Training Program. He performed with the company for six years and is currently a dancer with Post:Ballet and SFDanceworks in San Francisco. Click here to learn more.
Maurya Kerr is a choreographer, educator, performer, and the artistic director of tinypistol, where her choreographic work has been honored by numerous awards, grants, and commissions. She was a member of Alonzo King LINES Ballet for twelve years and teaches extensively in their education programs. Click here to learn more.
