Come find your inner story-teller with musical theater master, Gio Andres! From West Side Story’s International Touring Cast to appearances on Saturday Night Live and The Voice, Gio has done it all. His movement blends the contemporary and classical aesthetics of the performing arts and focuses on intention, technique and entertainment. Enjoy a jazz warm-up, conditioning, across the floor and an exciting combination set to the sounds of the stage.
Throughout the master class, Gio will emphasize execution and understanding of the movement. Gio believes that meaningful movement emotes a feeling and tells a story. Throughout class, he will strive to help you harness your power as a performer.

Gio Andres’s talents have crossed all mediums from Broadway and TV/Film to Concert Work and Music Videos. Some of his stage credits include: West Side Story international Tour (Shark Ensemble/Bernanrdo u/s), Miss Saigon (Dance Specialty/Ensemble Cast), Exposed (Ensemble), as well as Assistant Choreographer/Dancer for Heineken, Foot Locker and Panasonic Industrials. In addition, Gio is proud to be part of a community of dancers that has participated in several fundraising events for the organization Equity Fight AIDS, including DRA’s (Dancers Responding to AIDS) Fire Island Dance Festival and Broadway Bares.
Gio’s Film and TV credits include Victoria Secret Fashion Show, Saturday Night Live, Comedy Central’s The Onion, The Voice, Across The Universe, and commercials for Clearasil and Coke-a-Cola.
Since his retirement as a performer, Gio has turned his attention to teaching and has had the honor to teach at Broadway Dance Center and STEPS in NYC. He has also had the privilege of teaching intensives abroad in Austria, Germany and Mexico.
