Training Program

Independent Thinking. Fearless Investigation. Authentic Discovery.
Alonzo King LINES Ballet | Training Program

Alonzo King LINES Ballet | Training Program cultivates intelligent and adept dance artists through a philosophy that fosters independent thinking, fearless investigation, and personal discovery. We propel students to thrive both as dancers and as human beings by pushing beyond their preconceived limitations and encouraging the embodiment of growth and versatility in all facets.

Our Training Program is a full-time two-year professional experience for avid movers ages 18-24. Each year consists of 2 semesters of instruction, during which time dancers work with a world-class faculty, including former and current LINES Ballet company members. Each semester, students are privileged to study with Alonzo King in an interactive workshop setting.

Join us and engage in profound processes of collaboration, creation and performance of new works by leading choreographers. Challenge your artistic voice working with a remarkable roster of renowned Bay Area, national, and international guest artists, and experience the thrill of sharing your unique creativity with San Francisco audiences. Ultimately, we strive to develop strong, versatile, and compassionate artists who are empowered to share their unique voices.
