You’re invited to an enchanting evening of magic, artistry, and transformation at the LINES Ballet Gala on April 6.
All guests will enjoy a reception and performance featuring works by Artistic Director Alonzo King, including LINES Ballet’s premiere performance of King’s ballet, The Collective Agreement. Following the performance, Dinner Sponsors and their guests will delight in a three-course dinner with paddle raise to support LINES Ballet.
Multiple ticket and sponsorship packages are available, and more information may be found below. Proceeds from the 2024 Gala allow LINES Ballet to expand its impact with local and global audiences through the creation of new work, and support LINES Ballet’s transformative educational programs.
LINES Ballet is delighted to honor American political activist, professor, and author Angela Davis at the 2024 Gala.
Angela Y. Davis is Professor Emerita of History of Consciousness and Feminist Studies at University of California, Santa Cruz. An activist, writer, and lecturer, her work focuses on prisons, police, abolition, and the related intersections of race, gender, and class. She is the author of many books, from Angela Davis: An Autobiography to Freedom Is a Constant Struggle. Her most recent books include Abolition.Feminism.Now., written with Gina Dent, Erica Meiners, and Beth Richie, and a book of essays entitled Abolition: Politics, Practices, Promises, Vol. 1.

Once-in-a-lifetime, walk-on role at 2025 Gala Performance
Dazzle audiences with a specially curated walk-on role at the 2025 Gala Performance–a new ballet created by Alonzo King. This once-in-a-lifetime experience will also give the winner a chance to work with renowned choreographer and Artistic Director Alonzo King to create the role (no dancing is required), rehearse with LINES Ballet Company Dancers, and perform onstage in a costume designed by Creative Director Robert Rosenwasser. The winner will keep the costume following the performance as a memento of this special occasion.
A Collector’s Dream
Iconic LINES Ballet prints by renowned photographer RJ Muna
Bring home a treasured piece of LINES Ballet history with an exquisite photograph from award-winning photographer RJ Muna, a longtime LINES Ballet collaborator. Muna has personally curated his favorite images from more than 15 years of photographing the grace and artistry of LINES Ballet’s dancers.
These images are not available for purchase anywhere outside of this evening’s Gala.

Private dinner at Spruce with Alonzo King
This private dinner is the ultimate evening for lovers of the culinary arts and ballet alike. Chef Mark Sullivan of the restaurant Spruce will prepare a three-course chef’s tasting menu (plus amuse and mignardises) and sommelier-paired wines for you and four of your family and friends. LINES Ballet’s visionary Artistic Director and Co-Founder, Alonzo King, will join you, making for a rich and memorable experience—both in conversation and cuisine.
This experience is open to six guests and must be scheduled on a mutually agreeable date within one year of the event date.
