DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES
Reporting to the Executive Director (ED), the Director of Human Resources (HR) is responsible for oversight and execution of the organization’s human resource department. The position collaborates closely with senior leadership and works with employees at all levels to understand and execute the organization’s human resource goals, strategies, and compliance needs related to staffing, recruiting, retention, and succession. This includes development and administration of policies and programs, including compensation, benefits and leave, performance and talent management, productivity, salary benchmarking, employee recognition, occupational health and safety, training and career development, and disciplinary matters. The Director of Human Resources is a trusted member of the senior leadership team and seeks to advance the organization’s priorities with respect to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The position also interfaces regularly with the Director of Finance and other members of the finance department in order to ensure accuracy with payroll and health benefits.
Join our internationally acclaimed arts organization at a pivotal time in its history. The Ballet Master’s responsibilities will span 15–20 weeks of touring annually, two San Francisco seasons (two weeks each), and 15–20 weeks of rehearsal in San Francisco, in addition to other Company events and administrative duties in San Francisco. Responsibilities include supervision, learning and development, performance preparation, and management and administration. The Ballet Master will work closely with LINES Ballet’s Artistic Director to teach, prepare, and rehearse the dancers for productions and performances.
LINES PAID INTERNSHIP
Interns are an important part of the LINES community. LINES makes a commitment to providing project-based, meaningful work with a focus on career development for all interns. Participants will experience a broad overview of the organization through involvement with various special projects and events. Interns receive direct supervision and participate in regular check-ins with their on-site supervisor. Interns will work alongside LINES staff and personnel to gain hands-on experience in the daily operations of our vibrant Dance Center, Teens Program, LINES Training Program, Summer Program, Community Programs, and the LINES Ballet BFA Program at Dominican University of California. The LINES Internship focuses on developing a unique skill set centered around professional customer service, program development and coordination, event planning, marketing, and training in software such as MindBody and Quickbooks.
COMMUNITY PROGRAMS TEACHING ARTISTS
LINES is seeking experienced Dance Teaching Artists and Teaching Artist Assistants to join our Community Programs team teaching in HeART with LINES, our PreK-8th grade residency program, and Kids at LINES, our tuition-based kids program.
DANCE CENTER WORK EXCHANGE (WEX)
LINES Dance Center is seeking friendly, approachable, and professional volunteers who are willing to commit regularly to one shift per week in exchange for dance classes.
