ELIGIBILITY

Acceptance to Alonzo King LINES Ballet | Training Program is by audition only.

  • Candidates must be 18 years of age by the start of the program in order to be considered.
  • Candidates must complete their high school degree or equivalent prior to entering the program.

COVID PROTOCOLS
In order to attend the Training Program in-person at LINES Dance Center, all participants will be required to provide proof of full vaccination (including booster shot if eligible*), for COVID-19 and must comply with our organization’s masking mandates. Out of care and concern for our dance community of staff, teachers, and students, we appreciate your support of this policy that benefits us all.

* Eligibility is determined by date of second vaccination and CDC recommendations, or applicable country mandates if not from the United States.

INTERNATIONAL DANCERS

Alonzo King LINES Ballet | Training Program is not an accredited educational institution. Therefore, we cannot provide visas for International students. Although the Training Program is designed as a two-year experience, we can only offer international students the opportunity to attend one year of the program as a cultural exchange. Though responsibility falls to the student to secure a visa, Training Program staff are available to advise and support. More information can be found through International Arts & Artists.

TUITION & COSTS

 Scholarships are available for the Alonzo King LINES Ballet Training Program, based on both financial need and artistic merit. Students may apply for awards by following the guidelines provided upon acceptance into the program.

  Tuition for new Training Program 2023-2024 students is $11,250 per year. Tuition can be paid in full or in nine monthly installments on the 15th of every month starting June.

Training Program does not secure or provide housing for students. However, we do offer recommendations:

Enrolled students will also have access to a Google Group to facilitate the roommate and housing search.
