SAN FRANCISCO SUMMER PROGRAM AUDITION
Students ages 11–25 are invited to audition for our 2025 Summer Program! We are searching for aspiring dance artists to train with our exceptional faculty this summer at LINES Dance Center.
Our Summer Program offers a unified approach to training. Rooted in the philosophy of Alonzo King, our programs guide students on a collaborative journey that values risk-taking, creative power, and independent thinking.

*Make sure all videos are set to public so we can view them. Registration and Refund Policies Interested in our BFA at Dominican? The BFA at Dominican application has two separate, mandatory parts to fulfill-the dance audition portion and academic portion. All requirements for the BFA can be found on the APPLY page. Please submit required materials for BFA separately to an Acceptd account. Note: The academic application are open and accepted on a rolling basis. The artistic application deadline is April 1, 2025. |

LINES EXPLORATION LAB | BIRMINGHAM, AL
Join us for LINES Exploration Lab, a two-day workshop with past LINES Ballet company members. Get a sneak peek into the process that makes Alonzo King LINES Ballet and education programs so transformative. This first-hand experience into our distinguished training will include classes in ballet, contemporary, LINES repertory investigation, and explorative improvisation. These two days are designed to expose intermediate to professional students, ages 12–60, to our technical and explorative artistic approach to dance.

Eligible dancers (ages 12–25) are invited to use this workshop intensive as an audition for our 2024 Summer Programs. It is included in your experience! Simply submit the required audition materials, which can be found on our Summer Program’s Audition page.

LINES DISCOVERY LAB | TOWSON UNIVERSITY, MARYLAND
Join us for a three-day Discovery Lab with past LINES Ballet company dancers. Get a sneak peek into the process that makes Alonzo King LINES Ballet and education programs so transformative. This first-hand experience into our distinguished training will include classes in ballet, contemporary, LINES repertory investigation, and explorative improvisation. Designed to expand the technical and artistic excellence of dancers ages 11–17, our Teens Intensive offers five hours of daily training with a powerful roster of teachers.
We invite teens to join us and expand outside their comfort zones!

Dance Lab for Youths | San Francisco
Come play with us for the long holiday weekend and experience the transformative approach that is Alonzo King LINES Ballet education! This 3-day intensive welcomes all youth and teens from ages 11 – 16. You will have the chance to work with former LINES Ballet company members and esteemed LINES faculty. Classes include ballet, LINES repertory, contemporary, floor work, GYROKINESIS®, investigative improvisation, guided movement generation, and more. Tap into the playful artist within!

An experience designed for the dedicated dancer.
Enliven your holiday season and submerge into our transformative approach of training during this 4-day Winter Intensive. Work directly with LINES’ master teachers and guest artists through deep dives into movement exploration and dialogue. Tailored for both pre-professional and professional dancers ages 16 – 35, LifeLINES will inspire and challenge you.
