    Join us for the LINES Ballet | Training Program Spring Showcase, celebrating the conclusion of the year with exceptional performances.

    Our Friday program, Continuum, will showcase our prolific alumni and memorable student works from the past year. Continuum celebrates the homecoming of some of our alumni–a return to roots. We will feature works by choreographers Alejandro Perez and Gretchen Ackerman, Natasha Adorlee, Tara Bucknor, and Anika Whetstone, among others.

    Immersive Weekend Audition

    Immersive Weekend Audition

    March 16–17, 2024

    Join us for a two-day workshop audition for the Training Program and Pre-Professional Summer Program with our renowned Training Program faculty and artists! This first-hand experience into our distinguished training will include classes in ballet, contemporary, GYROKINESIS®, repertory investigation, explorative improvisation, and more.

    We encourage everyone to attend both days of the Immersive Weekend Audition for the full experience. However, if that is not possible, you are still welcome to audition by attending one day only—either Saturday or Sunday.

    Dress Code
    There is no dress code, nor are there restrictions of color or style. However, one must wear tasteful, form-fitting dance or athletic wear and appropriate footwear (socks or ballet slippers) should be used for classes accordingly.

    Eligibility
    Candidates must be 18 years of age by September 3, 2024 in order to be considered for the Training Program.

    LINES Exploration Lab

    Join us for LINES Exploration Lab, a two-day workshop with past LINES Ballet company members. Get a sneak peek into the process that makes Alonzo King LINES Ballet and education programs so transformative. This first-hand experience into our distinguished training will include classes in ballet, contemporary, LINES repertory investigation, and explorative improvisation. These two days are designed to expose intermediate to professional students, ages 12–60, to our technical and explorative artistic approach to dance.

    Bonus
    Eligible dancers (ages 12–25) are invited to use this workshop intensive as an audition for our 2024 Summer Programs. It is included in your experience! Simply submit the required audition materials, which can be found on our Summer Program’s Audition page.

    Our Summer Program is designed for aspiring artists ages 11-25 and offers a unified approach to training. Rooted in the philosophy of Alonzo King, our programs guide students on a collaborative journey that values risk-taking, creative power, and independent thinking.
