We invite you to get closer to the heartbeat of Alonzo King LINES Ballet during our 2023 Gala.
On April 15, 2023 the LINES family will come together for our annual Gala—an exquisite evening brimming with dance, beauty, and enduring friendship.
Please join us for the opening night of our world premiere—featuring preeminent artistic collaborators including acclaimed photographer Richard Misrach and returning guest star, Grammy Award-winning vocalist Lisa Fischer. The performance will be followed by a true-to-its-tradition elegant celebration infused with love—as we aim to inspire the artist who lives in all of us.
All proceeds from the 2023 Gala allow us to expand our impact with local and global audiences through the creation of new work and support LINES Ballet’s transformative educational and community outreach programs.

COVID-19 POLICY
Alonzo King LINES Ballet is following the guidelines of state and local health officials to develop thorough operations and safety plans for in-person activities. In conjunction with city guidelines, masks are strongly recommended but no longer required for visitors while indoors at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. TICKET POLICIES
Gala Ticket Refund Policy:
Tickets are non-refundable. But if you are unable to attend, you can:
- Give your tickets to a friend or family member
- Donate the value of your tickets to the LINES 2023 Gala for a tax-deductible donation
We appreciate your understanding and commitment to LINES Ballet.
Gala Ticket Policy – onsite purchases:
There will be no tickets for purchase onsite the day of the 2023 Gala, April 15, 2023. Please reserve your 2023 Gala tickets or Opening Night Celebration tickets in the allotted time frame stated above.
48 Hour Table Policy:
Any guest changes within 48 hours prior to the Gala are not guaranteed. While our guests’ experience is our top priority, our LINES staff will be on location leading up to the event and unable to make any last minute changes. Please help us to ensure the event’s success by communicating any adjustments in advance.
