Alonzo King’s Commissions
Alonzo King is a visionary, sought-after choreographer whose works live in the repertories of leading ballet and modern dance companies. He brings a spirit of experimentation, integrity, and rigor to each rehearsal room, working with artists around the globe to excavate their fullest potential and deepest honesty. Alonzo created and set notable commissions and licensed works for companies including Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Frankfurt Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Washington Ballet, Hong Kong Ballet, and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. He continues to create new works for LINES Ballet with world-renown collaborators each year.
