Erin Yen is a contemporary dancer, dance teacher, and choreographer based out of San Francisco. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, she holds a BFA with distinction in Dance from the Ohio State University and is fluent in Laban Movement Analysis. Erin is the founder of dance company Dragons Dance, 501(c)(3). Her choreography, an expression of her lived experiences and diverse dance training, has been featured throughout the Bay Area and online. In 2026, Erin’s choreography received an Isadora Duncan Dance Award (Izzie) for Outstanding Achievement in Direction or Choreography.
