LINES Winter Weekend
Details
Experience LINES Ballet’s transformative approach to dance training during this two-day workshop in San Francisco. Work directly with former and current LINES Ballet Company members. LINES Winter Weekend is also offered as a part of our 2027 Summer Program audition process.

Dancers ages 14–25* are invited to come dance with us for a full weekend during our LINES Winter Weekend. During this 2-day workshop, students will get a sneak peek into the experience and process that makes Alonzo King LINES Ballet’s education programs so transformative. Dancers will be placed in appropriate groups for the classes according to age and/or level. Classes include ballet, LINES repertory, contemporary, floorwork, GYROKINESIS®, investigative improvisation, guided movement generation, & more.
Dancers may join us for the full workshop or choose to participate for just 1 day.
Students applying for our renowned 2027 Summer Program may also use LINES Winter Weekend as their audition. It is included in their experience!

Curriculum
Ballet, LINES Ballet Repertoire, Movement Exploration, Contemporary, and GYROKINESIS®
Dress Code
There is no dress code, nor are there restrictions of color or style. However, one must wear tasteful, form-fitting dance or athletic wear, and appropriate footwear (socks, ballet slippers) should be used for classes accordingly.
