BEGINNING FLAMENCO WITH MS. TACHÍRIA FLAMENCO

We are overjoyed to welcome Flamenco back to the studio! Ms. Tachíria Flamenco will boldly share the flamenco technique as she leads up to teaching a short piece of choreography. Geared towards both absolute beginners and intermediate flamenco students, this class will get you moving, sweating, and working a long skirt (which you are highly encouraged, but not required, to wear to class).

Class will begin with a short warm-up. You will then learn basic techniques of using your arms, hands and feet for Flamenco. There will be a short lesson in musicality, utilizing “palmas,” rhythmic hand clapping. Finally you will bring it all together by creating a short Flamenco dance combination.

Please wear something that you can move and sweat in and either flamenco shoes, soft soled shoes or bare feet are also welcome.
