MODERN-BASED HORTON POP-UP MASTERCLASS WITH VICTOR TALLEDOS

Based on the principles of the Horton technique, this pop up master class will focus on helping dancers discover their power and be in more control of their bodies. With a simple yet thorough warm up, participants will familiarize themselves with the vocabulary of the technique, becoming more aware of their physicality as well as the space and others around. After a short break, participants will learn a choreographic phrase to explore and experience what’s beyond technique, working on intention to the movement, dynamics and performance quality. This is an open level class, no experience in the Horton technique necessary but some experience in other forms is recommended.
