After high school musical theater, studying biology in college, and a stint as a passenger service agent with American Airlines at SFO, Dudley Flores became a freelance “commercial” dancer and performed on television, in independent and feature films, commercials, large-scale corporate and fashion events and print ads. Later, his focus turned toward contemporary dance where he performed nationally and internationally with prominent San Francisco choreographers and companies, including: Janice Garrett and Charles Moulton, Robert Moses’ KIN, ODC/Dance, Stacey Printz, RAWdance, KT Nelson and Nol Simonse. In addition to serving as the Artistic Director of Rhythm & Motion, Dudley is also the Production Coordinator for the San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festival, sits on the Isadora Duncan Dance Award (“the Izzies”) committee, a collaborator with Latin Dance Grooves for San Francisco Carnaval and volunteers with various other dance organizations in the SF Bay Area.
