LifeLINES Winter Intensive

LifeLINES | Winter Intensive 2024

An experience designed for the dedicated dancer

Dancers ages 14+ are invited to enliven their holiday season, and submerge into our transformative approach to training during this two-day winter intensive. They’ll work directly with LINES’ master teachers and guest artists through deep dives into movement exploration and dialogue. Tailored for both pre-professional and professional dancers ages 14+, our winter intensive will inspire and challenge.

Students applying for our renowned 2025 Summer Program or LINES Ballet’s BFA Program at Dominican University of California may also use LifeLINES Winter Intensive as their audition. It is included in their experience!

There is no dress code, nor are there restrictions of color or style. However, one must wear tasteful, form-fitting dance or athletic wear and appropriate footwear (socks, ballet slippers) should be used for classes accordingly.

BFA Fall Showcase

Join the LINES Ballet BFA Program at Dominican University of California for the 2024 Fall Showcase. See each class perform a group ensemble piece. The show will feature choreography by Gregory Dawson, Carmen Rozestraten, and alum Katie Scherman ‘10.

BFA at Dominican
Alonzo King LINES Ballet and Dominican University of California join forces in this technically rigorous and artistically expansive four-year program, which culminates in a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. During the program, students acquire the skills and knowledge needed for a professional dance career along with the life-long benefits of an excellent liberal arts education.

BFA Program 2023 Senior Projects

Join us for the second weekend of the BFA 2023 Senior Projects! This annual performance features choreography created by the LINES Ballet BFA Program at Dominican University of California Class of 2023 students. Celebrate the culmination of 4 years of creative exploration through these highly original and personal works by seniors Simone Carcer, Sharif Claxton, Emma Debski, Haley Schmitt, Pakela Newalu-Gomes, Nyah Malone, and Arpege Wallace.
