PRE-PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM
Ages 18–25
2026 PROGRAM DETAILS
This intensive three-week experience challenges aspiring dance professionals to merge technique with artistry in the spirit of Alonzo King’s philosophy—that dance is a path to self-discovery and transformation. Through daily training in ballet technique/pointe, LINES repertoire, various modern techniques, contemporary partnering, improvisation, GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM®, and choreography, dancers refine their technical mastery while deepening creative expression. The program culminates in a showcase performance at the Ft. Mason Center for the Arts Cowell Theater in San Francisco.

ADVANCED PROGRAM
Ages 14–17
2026 PROGRAM DETAILS
Designed for advanced dancers eager to expand both skill and imagination, this three-week program cultivates individual voice, risk-taking, and depth of expression central to the Alonzo King LINES Ballet ethos. Classes in ballet, LINES repertoire, contemporary styles, GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM®, and improvisation strengthen technique while encouraging personal interpretation and artistic courage. The session concludes with a student performance at the Ft. Mason Center for the Arts Cowell Theater in San Francisco.

Advanced Program Housing Package
Housing is located in the Pacific Heights area of San Francisco and is within a short, free bus ride from LINES Dance Center. Students are required to be accompanied by chaperones when traveling to and from class.
Package Includes:
- Organized free or low cost Sunday activities
- Breakfast and Dinner Monday through Saturday; Brunch on Sundays
- 24/7 chaperone supervision provided by LINES
- 24-hours front desk person
- On-site building manager
- Suites furnished with beds, dressers, smart TV, refrigerator and in suite bathroom
- Pillow, sheets, comforter, towels provided
- Linen service for sheets and towels twice a week
- Coin-operated laundry machines for personal use on each floor
- Free WIFI
- Complimentary housekeeping services three times a week by request

JUNIOR PROGRAM
Ages 11–14
2026 PROGRAM DETAILS
This vibrant one- or two-week intensive introduces young dancers to the Alonzo King LINES Ballet philosophy—that movement is a form of exploration and growth. Training in ballet, contemporary, and LINES repertoire helps students build a strong foundation in both technique and artistry. Each session concludes with an informal studio showing celebrating creativity and confidence.

In-studio Showing | 4–5pm on last day of each week.
Family & Friends invited.
Dancers accepted to the program may attend one or both weeks.
