BEGINNING/INTERMEDIATE FLAMENCO MASTER CLASS WITH MS. TACHÍRIA FLAMENCO

We are overjoyed to welcome Flamenco back to LINES Dance Center with a beginner/intermediate master class taught by Ms. Tachíria Flamenco! Ms. Tachíria Flamenco will boldly share the flamenco technique as she leads up to teaching a short piece of choreography. Geared towards both absolute beginners and intermediate flamenco students, this class will get you moving, sweating, and working a long skirt (which you are highly encouraged, but not required, to wear to class).

The master class will begin with a short warm-up. You will then learn the basic techniques to use your arms, hands, and feet in Flamenco. There will be a short lesson in musicality, utilizing “palmas,” rhythmic hand clapping. Finally, you will bring all that you’ve learned together by creating a short Flamenco dance combination.

Please wear something that you can move and sweat in and either flamenco shoes or soft soled shoes; bare feet are also welcome.
